What is Amba Yagya?
Amba Yagya is a sacred Vedic fire ritual dedicated to Jagadamba (Divine Mother). It is performed for the welfare of humanity, spiritual upliftment, inner purification, peace, prosperity, and universal harmony.
According to Shrimad Devi Bhagavat Mahapurana, Bhagwan Vishnu himself explained the sacred science of Yagyas to the Devas. Among the many Yagyas described in the scriptures—such as Rudra Yagya, Soma Yagya, Vajapeya Yagya, Ashwamedha Yagya, and Vishnu Yagya—Amba Yagya holds a unique place as a path to both material well-being and spiritual liberation (Moksha).
The scriptures also describe various forms of Yagyas, including Rajasic, Sattvic, Tamasic, Sakama, Nishkama, and Manasa Yagyas. Amba Yagya beautifully integrates sacred chanting, worship, meditation, spiritual discourses, and the recitation of Shrimad Devi Bhagavat to invoke the Divine Mother’s blessings.
